Refer A Child
The magical journey of a child's heartfelt wish coming true begins with the referral process. Referring a child to the Foundation is as simple as it is easy. A child may be referred to the Foundation by one of three sources:

• Healthcare providers including physicians, social workers, nurses, and child-life specialists
• The child's parents
• The child him/herself

As the Foundation understands and respects the privacy of each family, we do not accept referrals from other sources such as extended family members or friends. Rather, we ask that those well-meaning individuals contact the family directly and introduce the idea of Make-A-Wish to them so they, in turn, can make their own decision.
